Desired Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer with 5+ years of experience in water resources engineering, stormwater management, and watershed planning. The ideal candidate will have experience leading hydrologic and hydraulic modeling projects, managing client relationships, and overseeing project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables. This is a full-time, in-office position that requires a strong combination of project management expertise and technical leadership to support public-sector water resources projects throughout Florida. Desired Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Serve as Project Manager and Technical Lead for a variety of water resources projects.
Manage water resources planning and design projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables are achieved.
Prepare fee proposals, scope documents, person-hour estimates, project budgets, and work plans.
Develop and review hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models at both local and watershed scales.
Conduct watershed studies, stormwater management analyses, drainage evaluations, and flood-risk assessments.
Provide technical leadership in model development, analysis, and implementation.
Prepare or oversee the preparation of engineering reports, technical memoranda, and final design documents.
Lead engineering investigations, planning studies, and technical staff to support project execution.

Education and Licensure (Minimum Required)
ABET-accredited Engineering bachelor’s degree (Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources preferred)
A current State of Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience (Minimum Required)
A minimum of 5+ years in water resources-related work.
Proficiency in developing and reviewing hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) models at local and watershed scales.
Experience with H&H models such as ICPR/StormWise, EPA SWMM, XP-SWMM, HEC-HMS, or HEC-RAS.
Experience with ESRI GIS software.
Experience managing projects, including client relations, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of project teams.
Other Desired Qualifications
Proficient in ArcHydro Tools.
Strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral).
Microsoft 360 Suite proficient.
Experience coordinating with Florida regulatory agencies.

Position Summary
Applied Sciences is seeking an experienced Construction Manager with 7+ years of experiencesupporting water resources, environmental, civil infrastructure, and construction-management projects throughout Florida. This is a full-time, hybrid position and will provide technical oversight and construction-phase services for projects involving canals, levees, pump stations, water-control structures, stormwater systems, environmental restoration, and related public infrastructure.
The selected candidate will work closely with project managers, contractors, inspectors, engineers, government agencies, and other project stakeholders to help ensure construction activities are completed safely, accurately, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, permits, and contract requirements
Desired Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Provide construction engineering and contract-administration support for civil, stormwater, water-resources, environmental, and infrastructure projects.
Review construction plans, technical specifications, schedules, shop drawings, submittals, requests for information, and contractor work plans.
Monitor construction activities for compliance with contract documents, engineering standards, permits, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
Coordinate with contractors, field inspectors, design engineers, clients, regulatory agencies, and other project stakeholders.
Participate in preconstruction meetings, progress meetings, site inspections, substantial-completion inspections, and final project closeout.
Evaluate field conditions and assist in resolving construction conflicts, design discrepancies, and site issues.
Review contractor schedules, payment applications, quantities, change-order requests, claims, and supporting documentation.
Prepare field reports, meeting minutes, technical memoranda, cost estimates, correspondence, and project-status reports.
Track project schedules, budgets, contract deliverables, outstanding issues, and corrective actions.
Support quality-control and quality-assurance procedures throughout the construction process.
Assist with constructability reviews and value-engineering evaluations during the design phase.
Verify that project records, testing documentation, as-built information, warranties, and closeout documents are complete and accurate.
Provide technical guidance to construction inspectors and junior engineering staff.
Maintain professional and effective communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Support emergency-response and recovery assignments when required.
Perform other related duties necessary to support successful project delivery.
Education and Experience (Minimum Required)
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
7+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction engineering, construction management, contract administration, inspection, or civil-infrastructure project delivery.
Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, submittals, schedules, payment applications, and change orders.
Knowledge of construction methods and materials associated with civil, stormwater, water-control, environmental, or utility projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites throughout Florida
Other Desired Qualifications
Florida-licensed Professional Engineer preferred, or the ability to obtain one in one year.
Experience with canals, levees, pump stations, culverts, control structures, drainage systems, reservoirs, wetlands, or environmental-restoration projects.
Demonstrated experience leading complex public-infrastructure or water-resources construction projects.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, consultants, contractors, claims, and contract modifications.
Ability to independently represent Applied Sciences Consulting during client meetings, negotiations, field decisions, and project coordination.
Experience supervising construction inspectors, technicians, consultants, or project teams.
